Purpose of the role  

Lead and empower a cross-functional engineering team to deliver high-quality initiatives. Drive agile delivery, continuous improvement, and team ownership while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and self-sufficiency.

Key priorities  

• Lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team through servant leadership and a culture of growth, innovation, and accountability
• Drive agile delivery of modern, scalable software solutions aligned with business goals and product roadmaps
• Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, managing dependencies and ensuring delivery excellence
• Champion engineering standards, DevOps practices, automation, and platform adoption to boost performance and reliability
• Ensure solutions meet quality, compliance, and operational requirements, including SLAs and regulatory standards
• Provide technical guidance, promote continuous improvement, and embed a culture of learning and experimentation
• Coach engineers, share knowledge, and support capability development across teams
• Proactively manage risks, uphold safety, and live the Youi values in everything you do

About you - Experience & Knowledge:  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Meets ASIC “Fit and Proper Person” compliance
• 7+ years in engineering leadership, with strong agile and product management expertise
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Strategic problem-solver focused on scalable, reliable, and high-performance tech delivery
• Up-to-date with best practices in compliance, security, and technology
