Purpose of the role  

Shape product direction and maximise value by leading backlog prioritisation, translating business needs into clear requirements, and guiding delivery teams.

Key priorities  

• Lead, coach, and empower delivery teams, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Promote collaboration, transparency, and data-driven decision-making
• Define and communicate product vision, aligning with business goals and stakeholder needs
• Own and prioritise the product backlog to maximise value and maintain product integrity
• Guide sprint planning and development stages, ensuring clear scope and delivery focus
• Represent the customer voice, anticipate needs, and champion user-centred design
• Evaluate product progress, confirm readiness for release, and ensure alignment to business outcomes
• Proactively manage risks and support a safe, values-led working environment

About you - Experience & Knowledge:  

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role
• Certified Product Owner; SAFe or equivalent preferred
• Proven leadership in agile software delivery and facilitation of agile practices
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on value-driven decision making
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and driving team performance
